The Westwoods Trail System in Guilford, Connecticut is a combination of state land, Guilford Land Trust Acquisitions, and private property. It comprises over 1300 acres of land, with 20 miles of trails and connects to another immense swath of open space in Branford.

Westwoods is comprised of shoreline, tidal inlets, salt marshes, woodland, old quarries, rocky cliffs and caves, as well as the remnance of Native American habitation. It is a special place for all to explore. There are trailheads with a range of trails for hiking, biking, bouldering, geocaching, and a chance to reconnect with the woods and history. This site highlights some of those activities and attractions and can get your started on your journey to explore our treasure.
